We calculate your skill development rate:

  • 2-5 hours/week: 2% skill decay annually
  • 5-10 hours/week: 2% skill growth annually
  • 10-20 hours/week: 6% skill growth annually
  • >20 hours/week: 10% skill growth annually

Step 2: Industry Impact Analysis

We factor in industry growth rates:

  • High growth industries: 12% boost
  • Medium growth: 7% boost
  • Low growth: 3% boost
  • Declining industries: 2% negative impact

Step 3: Automation Risk Assessment

We adjust for automation threats:

  • Low automation risk: No adjustment
  • Medium risk: 20% growth penalty
  • High risk: 40% growth penalty
  • Very high risk: 60% growth penalty

Step 4: 5-Year Projection

We project your future position:

  • Income growth = Base growth × Industry multiplier × Experience multiplier
  • Skill relevance decays based on learning vs automation
  • Status: Fading, Stagnant, Flat, Compounding
